Gladstone figural oil lamp

Victorian Figural oil lamp depicting William Gladstone 1809 – 1898 who was a British Prime minister.

The bust is on a ceramic base (which has a tiny chip see photo) with a brass plinth, cut glass font with an Evered Patent Safety lock collar and a Hinks No. 2 lever lift buffer with working snuffers, there has been a repair to bridge on burner and this is reflected in the price.

Original needle etched clear ball glass shade, new duplex chimney and wicks.

Fully restored and burning well.

Height to top of chimney 28 1/2″, this is a very heavy lamp and weighs 5.1 kg.
