Victorian Figural oil lamp depicting William Gladstone 1809 – 1898 who was a British Prime minister.
The William Gladstone bust is on a ceramic base (which has a tiny chip see photo) with a brass plinth and cut glass font.
Much sought after – Evered & Co. Patent Safety Lock No. 3 duplex collar and matching Evered & Co duplex burner.
Two thumb wheels, one marked Evered & Co Ltd London & Birmingham, the other Evered No. 3 duplex
Original needle etched clear ball glass shade, new duplex chimney and wicks.
Fully restored and burning well.
Height to top of chimney 28 1/2″, this is a very heavy lamp and weighs 5.1 kg.
