A Rare Coleman L227 Pressure Lantern made in Witchita, Canada.
Date stamp is 1.32 relates to Jan 1932.
Nickel coated brass font with some very minor dents and loss of nickel, has new seals and leather pump washer with a Coleman marked glass globe.
The Canadian model has an off set pump plunger. The base rest has ‘Coleman Quicklite written in holes.
An R55 generator fitted, originally would have been a Q99.
Large porcelain enamel reflector top has some wear on top and internal edge and indented handle carrier on frame.
Burner support has patent stamped on. It has had some silver soldering done many years ago.
Comes with original Mica Globe which has damage.
The Coleman L227 burns on Shellite in Australia and burns very well.
