Unique Hinks Tall Banquet oil lamp c1884/5.

This unique banquet Hinks lamp has a stepped and reeded brass base and column, with the base impressed with  ‘HINKS’.

The facet cut cranberry glass font has a patented unique style collar No. 2650, with a rare single wick ‘SLOT & LOCK’  patent fit and a Hinks marked thumb wheel.

It has an original matching tulip glass shade with a wavy style top and an unusual straight slip style chimney.

Height to top of chimney 32″ and weighs 4 kg.

The lamp is in excellent condition and is a really unique piece of history.
