Moore Bros Cupid Porcelain oil lamp

A Rare Moore Bros Cupid porcelain oil lamp with cupid figures c1880.

The Moore Bros oil lamp has applied floral decorations in the form of flowering cactus with two cupid figures picking the blooms.

The Moore Bros trade mark stamp is on the base along with original stapler repair which we have left to be seen, it has had some minor professional repair to the base. There is no staining or leaching in font and is a beautiful piece.

The lamp has a marked Hinks duplex bayonet burner with snuffers, new duplex chimney and wicks and has an original yellow wavy top glass shade.

Height to top of chimney  28″, this is a heavy lamp and weighs 4.2kg
